Sat 16 December: Dormans to Lingfield; 7 miles

Tandridge Border PathA fairly flat walk through Surrey farmland. There will be a meal break after about four miles at the Blacksmith's Head in Newchapel.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four  and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

You can also look at a map and aerial photograph side by side at the brilliant Where's the path? site, though the route is not marked on that.

Meet at Dormans station at 1014, or on the 0923 East Grinstead train from platform 15* at Victoria. This train can also be boarded at Clapham Junction (0929, platform 13) and East Croydon (0941, platform 6).  If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return to Dormans, which is the farther station from London.

For more information about this or any other PFA walk, phone me on 07904 286774, or email me at secretary@pfalondon.org
