Sat 9 September: Ashurst to Eridge; 8 miles

A train on the Spa Valley Railway passes Harrison's RocksA gently hilly walk in East Sussex, most of it fairly near the Spa Valley Railway. There will be a meal break after a little over four miles at the  High Rocks pub at High Rocks.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around five  hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

You can also look at a map and aerial photograph side by side at the brilliant Where's the path? site, though the route is not marked on that.

Meet at Ashurst station at 0958, or on the 0908 Uckfield train from platform 10* at London Bridge. This train can also be boarded at East Croydon (0923, platform 6*).  If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Eridge, which is the farther station from London.

For more information about this or any other PFA walk, phone me on 07904 286774, or email me at secretary@pfalondon.org
