A hilly walk in Surrey farmland and woodland, passing St Martha's Church and, also before lunch, the ruins of Chilworth Gunpowder Mills.  We will stop for lunch about half way at the Percy Arms in Chilworth, before returning to Guildford.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around five and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet either at the  main entrance of Guildford station at 0950, or on the 0915 Haslemere train from Waterloo.  This train can also be boarded at Clapham Junction (0922) or Woking (0943).

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: In keeping with current government guidelines, this walk is restricted to SIX people, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.  The poll will be closed when or if the maximum of six people is reached.
