Sat 30 October: Greenford to Kew Bridge; 8 miles

Wharncliffe Viaduct

A fairly flat walk in Ealing and Hounslow, along the River Brent and following the Capital Loop for most of its route.  The walk passes beneath the Wharncliffe Viaduct (right) on the way to the Thames.  We will stop at the Fox, Hanwell for a lunch break about half way.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around five and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at the  entrance of Greenford Underground station (on the Central Line) at 1000.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: There are now none in England affecting walkers.   However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.
