Sat 26 June: Riddlesdown to Upper Warlingham; 7 miles

A gently hilly walk in Surrey for the most part, though there is a steep descent towards the end.  There will be a meal break after about four miles at the Harrow in Warlingham.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half  hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Riddlesdown station at 0948, or on the 0920 East Grinstead  train from platform 15* at Victoria. This train can also be boarded at Clapham Junction (0927) East Croydon (0940) and Sanderstead (0945).  If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Upper Warlingham, which is the farther station from London; though it may be cheaper to buy a 1-6 zone travelcard, as both stations are in travelcard zone 6.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: Mixing rules have now been relaxed, so up to 30 people can walk together.  This is more than we have ever had on a PFA walk, so I think we are fairly safe to not limit the numbers.  However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.
