Sat 2 October: Hollingbourne circular; 6 miles

The North Downs Way near Eden's HoleA quite hilly walk in Kent farmland and woodland; that's to say, there is a steep climb towards the beginning and a steep descent towards the end.  The middle is pretty flat.  There will be a meal break half way at the Hook & Hatchet in Hucking.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half  hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Hollingbourne station at 1031, or on the 0925 Ramsgate  train from platform 4* at Victoria. This train can also be boarded at Bromley South (0942).

NB: there is only one train every hour returning from Hollingbourne.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: There are now none in England affecting walkers.  However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.
