Sat 4 Sep: Wendover to Great Missenden; 6 miles

Stile en route to Great MissendenA gently hilly walk through Buckinghamshire farmland and woodland.  We will stop for lunch after about three and a half miles at the Cock & Rabbit at The Lee.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet either at Wendover station at 1015, or on the 0927 Aylesbury train from platform 3* at Marylebone. This train can also be caught at Harrow-on-the-Hill (0939).   If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Wendover, which is the farther station from London.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: There are now none in England affecting walkers.  However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.
