Sat 6 Feb: Chalfont & Latimer to Chorleywood; 6 miles

River ChessA gently hilly walk through Buckinghamshire farmland and woodland in the Chess Valley.  We will stop for lunch about half way at the Cock Inn in Sarratt.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet either at Chalfont & Latimer station at 1028, or on the 0957 Aylesbury Vale Parkway train from platform 4* at Marylebone. This train can also be caught at Harrow-on-the-Hill  (1009).   If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Chalfont & Latimer, which is the farther station from London.
