Sat 11 December: Roydon circular; 6 miles

Distant view of Rye House Power StationA very gently hilly walk through Essex farmland and along the Lee Navigation and the Stort Valley  There will be a meal break after nearly four miles at the Black Swan in Broadley Common.

The walk should take around four hours, including the stop for lunch. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Roydon station at 0957, or on the 0928 Cambridge train from platform 2* at Liverpool Street. This train can also be boarded at Tottenham Hale (0940).

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: There are now none in England affecting walkers.  However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.

For more information about this PFA walk, email me at secretary@pfalondon.org, but this walk is going to be led by Kieran Quill, as I will be away.  Kieran's phone number is 07825 547178.
