Sat 3 October: Roydon to Harlow Mill; 6 miles

Hunsdon Mead Nature Reserve, RoydonA very gently hilly walk along the Essex/Herts border, about half of the walk being along the Stort Navigation.  There will be a meal break after four miles at the Plume of Feathers in Gilston.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Roydon station at 1004, or on the 0928 Cambridge North train from platform 3* at Liverpool Street. This train can also be boarded at Tottenham Hale (0940).  If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Harlow Mill, which is the farther station from London.
