Sat 19 December: Chingford to Enfield Lock; 6 miles

Trig Point and Obelisk, Pole Hill, ChingfordA fairly flat walk in the Lee Valley. There will be a meal break after three and a half miles at the Owl in High Beech.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Chingford station at 1030, or on the 1003 Chingford train from platform 7* at Liverpool Street. This train can also be boarded at Bethnal Green (1006) and Hackney Downs (1010).  If travelling by train, buy one day travelcard for zones 1 to 6, which will cover all travel.
