Sat 7 August: Broxbourne to Roydon; 6 miles

Dobb's Weir, NazeingA very gently hilly walk through Essex farmland and along the Lee Navigation and the Stort Valley  There will be a meal break after three and a half miles at the Fish and Eels at Dobbs Wier.

The walk should take around four hours, including the stop for lunch. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Broxbourne station at 1023, or on the 0958 Cambridge North train from platform 2* at Liverpool Street. This train can also be boarded at Tottenham Hale (1010).  If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Roydon, which is the farther station from London.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: Mixing rules have now been relaxed, so up to 30 people can walk together.  This is more than we have ever had on a PFA walk, so I think we are fairly safe to not limit the numbers.  However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.

For more information about this or any other PFA walk, phone me on 07904 286774, or email me at secretary@pfalondon.org
