Sat 16 October: Welwyn North circular; 7 miles

The Great Northern line just to the south of Welwyn North tunnelA gently hilly walk through Hertfordshire farmland and woodland.   There will be a meal break after four miles at the Horns in Bulls Green.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around five  hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Welwyn North station at 1000, or on the 0928 Cambridge train from platform 9* at Kings Cross. This train can also be boarded at Finsbury Park (0934, platform 7*). 

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: There are now none in England affecting walkers.  However, I think it is still a good idea to book the pub for lunch, so please click on this Doodle poll link to let us know if you are coming.
