Sat 6 March: West Horndon circular; 6 miles

Looking across Childerditch PondA mainly flat walk through  Essex farmland, though there is some woodland and a gently hilly section at the start. There will be a meal break after four miles at the Green Man in Herongate.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four  hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at West Horndon station at 1000, or on the 0930 Shoeburyness train from platform 1* at Fenchurch Street. This train can also be boarded at Limehouse (0934) West Ham (0939) and Barking (0944).
