Sat 17 April: Berkhamsted circular; 6 miles

Chiltern Heritage TrailA gently hilly walk through Hertfordshire farmland and woodland.  There will be a lunch break after about three miles at the Golden Eagle in Ashley Green.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around four and a half  hours. You can download a map and elevation profile here.

Meet at Berkhamsted station at 1009, or on the 0934 Tring train from platform 8* at Euston.  This train can also be boarded at Harrow & Wealdstone (0946) Bushey (0952) and Watford Junction (0955).
